I had the pleasure of seeing TFOTR several times a year as we were both dealers at conventions across the country. Talking with them was always a highlight of each of those weekends, and I was constantly excited about collecting their merch! At one time we tabled next to them at a convention and I got a gorgeous badge from them of my character Meiling. I will always treasure my interactions with them, even though we didn't have the opportunity to become closer than good den buddies. I hope that whenever we meet again, we can be good friends. ♥

I met Erin when I tabled next to them at Fursquared in Wisconsin. I mistakenly thought that they were local, and I instantly got excited about the prospect of a new friend around to hang out with. They actually lived in Michigan, on the other side of the lake, but I remember they were so happy that I wanted to be friends with them that they gave me the biggest hug. Erin was a small person, but they had such a strong spirit, and I still feel like they’re here and I can still feel them. I wish I could have given them this ratsona version of Milo, it’s broken my heart that I just met them and then they were gone so suddenly, with only this brief impression on my heart. I’ve been thinking a lot about being an artist. Many artists leave this world with unfinished work, as did Milo. Please rest and take care of yourself and know that you’re worth more than every drop of water in Lake Michigan.
